1. Holy Word for Morning Revival:

This week we will enjoy the Week #16 message, “Our Spiritual Food, Our Spiritual Rock, and the Contents of the Lord’s Table” from “Experiencing, Enjoying, and Expressing Christ (2),” Volume 3. These messages were given during the December 2024 Semiannual Training.

2. Blending Lunch at the Park:We will have a blending lunch and picnic at the park next Lord’s Day on June 8, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The details are as follows:

1. Lord’s Day Meeting at the Meeting Hall

(1) Lord’s Table Meeting: 10:00 AM – 10:40 AM

(2) Corporate Blending Prophesying Meeting: 10:50 AM – 11:30 AM

(3) Transition to the Park: 11:40 AM – 12:00 PM

 

1. Blending Lunch/Picnic

(1) Date & Time: Lord’s Day, June 8, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM

(2) Location: De Portola Park, 25615 Lazy Meadow Dr., Torrance, CA 90505

(3) Directions: From the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Crenshaw Blvd, go south on Crenshaw Blvd. After about a minute, turn right after Ralphs Market onto Rolling Hills Rd (not Rolling Hills Way). Then, after another short distance, turn right onto Whiffletree Ln. (Do not look for Lazy Meadow Dr.) The park will be on your right. Please park along the park side of the street and avoid parking in front of residential homes.

(4) Schedule:

* 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Prayer, lunch, and singing

* 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Activities and games for children and others

(5) Food/Dessert

Saints are encouraged to bring the same “potluck” dishes they usually bring. Food can be brought to the meeting hall and then transported to the park. Some Korean-speaking brothers will also host a BBQ, including carne asada, Korean Bulgogi, and hot dogs with condiments (relish, ketchup, mustard).

(6) Items to Be Provided by Designated Saints:

1. All disposable items: utensils, chopsticks, napkins, cups, plates, foil, knives, alcohol gel, wipes, etc.
2. Ice in coolers and 4 rolls of toilet paper (due to limited supply in park restrooms). Note: The      women’s restroom stalls lack doors—one sister may assist by standing at the entrance for privacy.
3. Non-disposable serving utensils (additional ones may be brought by those providing food).
4. Beverages: water, juice, and soda
5. 60 plastic folding chairs from the meeting hall storage
6. Two park BBQ grills and one portable grill
7. Three fold-up tables
8. One 11×11 ft canopy and one 10×20 ft canopy
9. Tablecloths

(7) Cleaning: All are welcome to help with cleanup. This includes returning reusable items to the meeting hall (e.g., serving utensils, chairs, etc.).

 

Feel free to invite any dormant saints or gospel friends to join us for this special blending lunch at the park!

 

May the Lord bless this blending lunch/picnic so that the saints in Torrance be blended more in one Spirit to have the one new man church life for His eternal purpose.

3. Branden and Katrin Izumi had a baby girllast Thursday, May 29. The following is the announcement from Branden and Katrin on the birth of their daughter:

 

Dear saints, 

We are happy to introduce Naomi Yuriko Izumi, born May 29th at 5:31 PM. Naomi is from the book of Ruth in Hebrew meaning pleasant, gentle, delightful, or sweet. Yuriko is Japanese for lily child. It is in reference to Mathew 6, where a lily signifies people under the care of God. Also in S.S. Ch. 2 it references one who lives a pure and trusting life. Izumi means spring or fountain.

 

4. Meal Preparation for the Izumi Family

We would like to support the Izumi family during this time by preparing meals for them twice a week, starting on the Lord’s day, June 8. If you would like to participate, please see the spreadsheet link below for available dates and other details.

 

Feel free to coordinate with others in preparing a meal on any of the indicated days. That means two or more sisters can sign up for one time slot and share the responsibilities.

 

Portion Size: Enough for 6-8 adults

Food Delivery: Please call or text Katrin (626-297-0658) on the day of your food delivery to let her know what time the meal will be dropped off. If possible, call or text earlier in the day before 12 noon and deliver the food to their home by 6 pm.

Dietary Preference: Include at least one protein dish and a separate vegetable dish. A carbohydrate dish can be added on the side. Other optional dishes can include a salad and/or fruit.

5. New Entry and Exit System for the Meeting Hall: 

As we have announced several times, for the safety of the saints and according to the recommendation of the City of Lomita, the gate on 241st Street will be used only for entering, and the gate on Narbonne Avenue will be used only for exiting.

Please be aware that when exiting through the Narbonne Avenue gate, you must make a right turn only. Turning left is not only unsafe, but also illegal due to the presence of a solid yellow centerline, which may not be crossed.

 

Also, you should not park in the right-hand passage leading to the Narbonne Ave gate. However, you may park on the opposite (left-hand) side, as one half of the gate will be open while the other half will always remain closed.

6. General Services for the month of June 2025:

Korean-speaking saints will serve in four designated areas:

1) Lord’s Table Set-up, 2) Love Feast Set-up, 3) Kitchen Clean-up, and 4) Hall Cleaning.

7. Visitors and New Ones cards: 

We’ve prepared visitors and new ones cards for our records and further contact purposes. We kindly request that all the visitors and new ones fill it out and put it into the small box on the table at the entrance.

 

8. Donation by Online banking, ZELLE:

9. We continue to maintain the Zoom meeting optionfor those who cannot attend the in-person gathering due to various reasons on the Lord’s Day. We also have set up the Zoom meeting equipment in each language prophesying room to enable hybrid prophesying meetings.

   10. LSM YouTube Channels: 

Living Stream Ministry now has two YouTube channels.

 

The content of the first channel, located at http://youtube.com/LivingStreamMinistry is mainly videos of entire messages spoken by Brother Lee in Life-study trainings and conferences.

The second channel, located at http://youtube.com/@LivingStreamMinistryHymns consists of recordings of hymns from the “Hymns of Life and Truth” albums. The saints can subscribe to these channels to receive notifications of new content as it is made available.
