- Special Prayer Request for the Lord’s Move in Russia:
“The Appeal court in its resolution on July 30 confirmed the previous ruling of the lower court to recognize the Recovery version “an extremist publication,” except for the Bible text. Our lawyers intend to file a further complaint to a higher court. A more detailed update from us may follow in the next few days. Please keep praying for the Lord’s best will regarding His recovery in the Russian-speaking countries.”
Please continue to pray along the following lines:
– that the Lord would move through intensified prayers of His entire Body;
– that the Lord would carry out His best will concerning His recovery in the Russian-speaking world, protecting and preserving His testimony there;
– that the evil spiritual forces in the heavenlies would be bound and that Christ’s victory would be displayed for the carrying out of God’s economy.
- For the upcoming new term of FTTA:
The Fall 2025 term of the Full-time Training in Anaheim begins next week, August 11.
Please pray:
That the Lord would shepherd each one He has called to be trained all the way to the FTTA, and that the enemy would have no way to distract them or frustrate their coming.
That all the trainees would come with an open heart and an exercised spirit, consecrating themselves fully to the Lord to be trained in every aspect of their person and living.
- For the Lord’s move in French-speaking Europe:
Please pray:
* That the Lord will raise up at least 3 new lampstands in 2025 and will eventually raise up lampstands in Rouen, Lille, Versailles, Mertzig (Luxembourg), Geneva (Switzerland), Marseilles, Toulouse, Caen, Nante, and Montpellier.
* That a number of saints will receive the Lord’s burden to serve in French-speaking Europe for one to three months to meet the urgent need for continued shepherding of the new ones the Lord has put into our hand.
* That the Lord will increase the team of full-tie serving ones in Paris to take care of the Lord’s needs throughout French-speaking Europe. Please pray for the release of long stay visas for these saints.
* That many students, families, and mature saints will migrate to France within the next several years for the Lord’s interest.
- For the follow-up of North America Chinese-speaking Saints Perfecting Training:
Please pray that the Lord’s timely speaking during last week’s perfecting training on “Go and Bear Remaining Fruit” would continue to perfect the Chinese-speaking saints in truth, life and service for the advance of the Lord’s move among them and for their bearing remaining fruit for the Body.
- For the saints in Torrance who are ill for the sake of His divine interests (Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God):
Please continue to pray for sister Elsy Lopez, brother Hak Nam, brother Kwang Kim, and brother Joseph Malet.
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant healing through His all-sufficient grace, enabling them to experience and enjoy Christ throughout every medical procedure.
- For the Church website:
Our newly updated church website, ChurchinTorrance.org, has recently been launched. It is not yet complete or perfect, but we will continue to improve and develop it little by little. More details about the website will be introduced later.
Please pray that the Lord will bless and use our church website for us to experience and enjoy the All-inclusive Christ more, and for outside seekers to have greater accessibility to the divine and deeper truths.
- For the vitalizing of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way for the increase of the church in Torrance:
Pray that the contacting of the people and the gaining of the seeking ones in the Torrance area through gospel preaching and the distribution of Bibles with the ministry books would be blessed and be fruitful for the increase of Christ inwardly and outwardly.
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain…” [John 15:16]
- For the young people and children to be preservedfrom the present evil age and gained by the Lord for His purpose.
- For the Lord’s Move to Asia & Africa:
Nepal: Pray for the campus work, that more students who are open and willing to read the Bible would be gained, and that 10 stable home meetings would be established in July.
Tajikistan: Pray that the door of the gospel would be opened on the campuses, and that high-quality students would be gained, so the saints may bear six remaining fruit this year.
Azerbaijan: May the Lord strengthen the church life, uplifting the saints’ enjoyment and experience of Christ so they may grow in life through the regular enjoyment of God’s word.
Vietnam: Pray that the serving saints would have the spirit of wisdom and revelation, a sober mind, and good health, so that the translation of the Old Testament may be completed soon.
* Pray that the Lord may have a way in the following countries/region without the Lord’s testimony: Afghanistan, Iraq, Maldives, North Korea, Palestine, Syria, Turkmenistan and Yemen.
- For the Lord to strengthen His move in Europe, Asia, Africa, and all other countries:
