Prayer Ministry of the Church in Torrance (1/20/2026)
Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, / I have appointed watchmen; / All day and all night / They will never keep silent. / You who remind Jehovah, / Do not be dumb;
And do not give Him quiet / Until He establishes / And until He makes Jerusalem / A praise in the earth. (Isa. 62:6-7)

Please pray:
1. For “The Truth Sets US Free”:
There was a special webinar (a seminar held on the web) for all the churches in North America hosted by BfA (Bibles for America) last Lord’s Day. The topic was “The Truth Sets Us Free”.
It was the first direct communication with the churches and the saints about the 2026 nationwide endeavor of all the churches to preach the complete gospel to the unbelievers and to minister the deeper truths to the seekers in America.
“Indeed days are coming, / Declares the Lord Jehovah, / When I will send a hunger into the land, / Not a hunger for bread / Nor a thirst for water, / But for hearing the words of Jehovah.” —Amos 8:11
It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States. Particularly among the younger generations, this level of interest in the Bible and the Christian faith has not been seen since the late 1960s.
In 2026, two significant events will present a unique opportunity for gospel preaching and distribution of the Recovery Version in the United States—the celebrations surrounding the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. Both of these will draw many thousands of people to various cities all over the country. It seems that the Lord has opened a marvelous way for saints to rise up to spread the interpreted word to hungry seekers.
2. For the 2026 FTTA Gospel Trips:
On January 2—February 10, 2026, FTTA gospel trip teams are going out to 12 countries in Europe and North America to join with local saints for the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom. Please pray that:
*The Lord will fully cover the travel, safety, security, border crossing, and health of all those involved as they begin to make their way to each destination.
*The Lord will blend and build all the saints involved so that He will have the free way to fully bless these trips.
*The sanctifying Spirit will go before the saints to prepare the hearts of those the Lord has chosen.
*The preaching of the gospel of the kingdom will be prevailing and reach all those the Lord desires to save.
*Fruit, even remaining fruit, will be borne in each place visited, and the Lord will add to the churches as His testimony in each of these nations.
3. First Lord’s table meeting in Lille, France:
This coming weekend, January 24 to 25, a new lampstand will be raised up in Lille, France. This will be the third new local church raised up in France since the gospel trips related to the summer Olympics held in Paris in 2024.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to build up His testimony in Lille and in other cities in France.
4. For the Gospel trips related to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy (4 December 2025—23 February 2026):
The 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. Gospel trips during the time of the Torch Relay and the Olympic Games will be conducted from 4 December 2025 through 23 February 2026.
The gospel trips related to the Torch Relay (TR) and Olympic Games (OL) are in progress. Reports from the FTTA are available at ftta.org/gospeltrips. Other summary reports will be provided as the gospel trips proceed. Please see the prayer burdens in these reports.
Please pray:
*That the Lord will be wisdom to His Body on how to take advantage of this opportunity to sow Christ as the seed of the kingdom into many who attend this event.
*That the Lord will prepare the hearts of many seeking people to receive Christ in His word and be added to the Lord’s testimony in Italy and other parts of Europe.
*That the Lord will blend the saints together for the spreading of the lampstands in Italy and will advance His move in His recovery.
5. For the Gospel preaching and Truth spreading in the Torrance area:
[John 15:5, 16] I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you.
*Please pray for the vitalization of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way to bear fruits for the increase and spread of Christ.
*Pray that the Lord would bless the contacting of people through gospel preaching and the distribution of Bibles with ministry books, resulting in the bearing of much remaining fruit.
*Pray that the Lord would bring many young working saints and couples for the raising up of the next generation.
6. For the saints in Torrance who are ill for the sake of His divine interests (Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God):
*Please pray for brother Rudy. He experienced chest discomfort yesterday morning and went to the Kaiser emergency room, where several tests were conducted to determine the cause. Early this morning, he was transferred to Keck Medical Center in Los Angeles, where stents were placed in one of his occluded coronary arteries. He will remain in the hospital at least until tomorrow for further observation. Thankfully, Rudy is doing much better now. Thank you for your prayers.
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
7. For young people and children to be preserved from the present evil age and gained by the Lord for His purpose.
8. For the Lord’s Move to Asia & Africa:
Cambodia: Pray for the conflict along the Thailand–Cambodia border. At present, 38 saints’ homes in northern Cambodia have fled to safer areas. Pray for the safety of the saints on both sides of the border who have been affected, and that the Lord would shepherd them and supply all their needs.
Laos: Pray for the national brothers’ and serving ones’ training in January, that more saints would be perfected for the advance of the Lord’s move.
Nepal: Pray that the Lord would strengthen the saints’ burden for gospel preaching, and that they would coordinate with their companions to preach the gospel during the fixed weekly gospel preaching time and in the small groups.
Sri Lanka: Pray for the Sinhala Recovery Version New Testament proofreading from January 5 to February 7, that all the coordinating saints would be strengthened into the inner man.
* Pray that the Lord may have a way in the following countries/region without the Lord’s testimony: Afghanistan, Iraq, Maldives, North Korea, Palestine, Syria, Turkmenistan and Yemen.
9. For the Lord to strengthen His move in Europe, Asia, Africa, and all other countries.
