Please pray:
1. For “The Truth Sets US Free”:
There was a special webinar (a seminar held on the web) for all the churches in North America hosted by BfA (Bibles for America). The topic was “The Truth Sets Us Free”.
John 8:32 says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
It was the first direct communication with the churches and the saints about the 2026 nationwide endeavor of all the churches to preach the complete gospel to the unbelievers and to minister the deeper truths to the seekers in America.
“Indeed days are coming, / Declares the Lord Jehovah, / When I will send a hunger into the land, / Not a hunger for bread / Nor a thirst for water, / But for hearing the words of Jehovah.” —Amos 8:11
It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States. Particularly among the younger generations, this level of interest in the Bible and the Christian faith has not been seen since the late 1960s.
In 2026, two significant events will present a unique opportunity for gospel preaching and distribution of the Recovery Version in the United States—the celebrations surrounding the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. Both of these will draw many thousands of people to various cities all over the country. It seems that the Lord has opened a marvelous way for saints to rise up to spread the interpreted word to hungry seekers.
2. For the local Participation in The Truth Sets US Free (TSUF):
We, the church in Torrance, will actively participate in preaching the gospel and spreading the high truths both locally and regionally. We will preach the complete gospel to unbelievers and minister the deeper truths to seekers in our area as one team, regardless of language, in a blended way with strong one accord. We ask for your prayers and participation for this matter.
3. For the Gospel trips in Italy and in other countries in Europe (January and February): Gospel trips related to the Torch Relay (TR) and Olympic Games (OL) in Italy will continue until February 23. Also, teams of FTTA trainees are currently visiting Italy and other countries in Europe. A report on trip TR 4 in Turin, Padua, and Vicenza is avilable here (TR_4 _Turin-Padua-Vicenza_1-31-26 ) and reports from the FTTA are available at ftta.org/gospeltrips. Please see the prayer burdens in these reports
4. For the 2026 FTTA Gospel Trips:
On January 2—February 10, 2026, FTTA gospel trip teams are going out to 12 countries in Europe and North America to join with local saints for the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom. Please pray that:
*The Lord will fully cover the travel, safety, security, border crossing, and health of all those involved as they begin to make their way to each destination.
*The Lord will blend and build all the saints involved so that He will have the free way to fully bless these trips.
*The sanctifying Spirit will go before the saints to prepare the hearts of those the Lord has chosen.
*The preaching of the gospel of the kingdom will be prevailing and reach all those the Lord desires to save.
*Fruit, even remaining fruit, will be borne in each place visited, and the Lord will add to the churches as His testimony in each of these nations.
5. For the resumption of the Young People Service/Meeting in Torrance:
Three years after the resumption of the children’s service/meeting, through the leading of the Spirit, we began to have fellowship and coordination for the resumption of the YP service/meeting in Torrance as soon as possible.
[The future of the Lord’s work depending altogether on the young people]
Furthermore, nearly every work that the young people were called by God to do was a work that turned the age. God called Moses to turn one age, and He called Joshua to turn another age. Obviously, His calling of Samuel turned another age. The prophethood, priesthood, and kingship all hung on this young man Samuel. He was truly one who turned the age. David was also one who turned the age. Furthermore, we can see that Daniel and his three friends were young ones among the people in captivity. Through them God turned that age of captivity. Then in the New Testament, the first to emerge was John the Baptist. We know that he was a young man called by the Lord. God used him to turn the age at his time. We can go on to look at Paul, who was an apostle especially used by God. The Bible says that he was a young man when he was visited by the Lord (Acts 7:58). We all admit that Paul was a man who turned the age. I dare not overstate the case, but my feeling is that the work that the Lord started among us in the East thirty years ago also considerably bore the nature and element of an age-turning work. *Please pray that this YP service is originated from God as the unique source, carried out by God as the unique power, and accomplished unto the glory of God.
*Please pray that the Lord would be the wisdom and the way for the coordinating brothers.
*Please pray that the Lord blesses the YP service/meeting in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His recovery.
6. For the Gospel preaching and Truth spreading in the Torrance area:
[John 15:5, 16] I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you.
*Please pray for the vitalization of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way to bear fruits for the increase and spread of Christ.
*Pray that the Lord would bless the contacting of people through gospel preaching and the distribution of Bibles with ministry books, resulting in the bearing of much remaining fruit.
*Pray that the Lord would bring many young working saints and couples for the raising up of the next generation.
7. For the saints in Torrance who are ill for the sake of His divine interests (Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God):
Please pray for sister Irma (wife of brother Richard L.). Recently, she was involved in an accident that resulted in a concussion and whiplash. She is currently under her doctor’s care and receiving ongoing treatment for pain in her neck and back.
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
8. For young people and children to be preserved from the present evil age and gained by the Lord for His purpose.
9. For the Lord’s Move to Asia & Africa:
Cambodia: Pray for the conflict along the Thailand–Cambodia border. At present, 38 saints’ homes in northern Cambodia have fled to safer areas. Pray for the safety of the saints on both sides of the border who have been affected, and that the Lord would shepherd them and supply all their needs.
Laos: Pray for the national brothers’ and serving ones’ training in January, that more saints would be perfected for the advance of the Lord’s move.
Nepal: Pray that the Lord would strengthen the saints’ burden for gospel preaching, and that they would coordinate with their companions to preach the gospel during the fixed weekly gospel preaching time and in the small groups.
Sri Lanka: Pray for the Sinhala Recovery Version New Testament proofreading from January 5 to February 7, that all the coordinating saints would be strengthened into the inner man.
* Pray that the Lord may have a way in the following countries/region without the Lord’s testimony: Afghanistan, Iraq, Maldives, North Korea, Palestine, Syria, Turkmenistan and Yemen.
10. For the Lord to strengthen His move in Europe, Asia, Africa, and all other countries.
