1. Holy Word for Morning Revival: This week, we will be enjoying Week #4 message, “Blessed Are the Merciful, for They Shall Be Shown Mercy and Receive Mercy” from “Crucial Aspects of Matthew 5 Through 7”. These messages were given during September 2025 ITERO (The International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones) held in Malaysia.

2. The memorial meeting for Brother Joseph Malet was held last Saturday at the meeting hall of the church in Torrance. We praise and thank the Lord for His blessing and anointing on this meeting. We also thank all the saints who served for this memorial meeting in one accord.

[2 Cor. 4:16-17]
Therefore we do not lose heart; but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For our momentary lightness of affliction works out for us, more and more surpassingly, an eternal weight of glory.

In God’s design all of us who are His chosen people have to go through sufferings. There is no exception to this because…He wants us to be transferred from the realm of the old creation into the realm of the new creation. This transfer is a process of suffering. (CWWL, 1989, vol. 2, “Being Renewed Day by Day,” p. 348)

[1 Cor. 15:51-58]
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. And when this corruptible will put on incorruption and this mortal will put on immortality, then the word which is written will come to pass, “Death has been swallowed up unto victory.” Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

3. Resumption of the Young People’s Service in Torrance:
During these years, among a few churches, often I have emphatically charged the brothers and sisters that they must take care of the young people. Because I emphasize this point, it makes the older ones feel very uncomfortable. Sometimes some of them say, “Brother Lee is simply causing the young people to rebel!” Today I speak this before the Lord. The reason I purposely encourage young people is that I clearly realize one thing: if a church cannot raise up the young people, this church has no future. If a local church that has been meeting for many years is not able to raise up the new ones to serve the Lord, it will be like a couple who have been married for many years without children. When this couple have grown old, what would happen to the family? This is why I conclude that a church must have young people at all costs. The church needs the second generation. The future of the church hinges on the young people. (The Elders’ Management of the Church, pp. 108-109)

The first Lord’s Day YP meeting was held yesterday at the YP room (formerly Spanish-speaking room) in Building #1. Please continue to pray that the Lord blesses the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His move and eternal economy.

4. The Truth Sets US Free:
John 8:32 says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…” (Gal. 5:1a)

It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States, especially among the younger generations. In 2026, two significant events in the United States will present a unique opportunity for preaching the gospel and distributing the NT Recovery Version: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. We have a marvelous opportunity to rise up and spread God’s interpreted Word to hungry seekers throughout North America.

5. Local Participation in The Truth Sets US Free (TSUF):
We, the church in Torrance, will actively participate in preaching the gospel and spreading the high truths both locally and regionally. We will preach the complete gospel to unbelievers and minister the deeper truths to seekers in our area as one team, regardless of language, in a blended way with strong one accord. We ask for your prayers and participation for this matter.

6. Bible Reading Scheduler:
Living Stream Ministry has developed a website that can be used to create a schedule for reading the Holy Bible Recovery Version regularly in several different ways. The scheduler is located at “schedule.recoveryversion.bible”. A schedule created on this website can be used to read the Bible without footnotes in addition to reading the New Testament with footnotes according to the schedule.
If we read the Word of God regularly, we will become what we read (see CWWL, 1977, vol. 1, pp. 6-7).

7. General Services for the month of March 2026: Korean-speaking saints will serve in four designated areas:
1) Lord’s Table Set-up, 2) Love Feast Set-up, 3) Kitchen Clean-up, and 4) Hall Cleaning.
* Please remember to clean building #2 as well, except for the children’s meeting room.

8. Donation by Online banking, ZELLE:
If your bank allows you to use the Zelle service to send money, you may send your offering to the church online by Zelle. Please use this email address thechurchintorrance@gmail.com to send donations by “Zelle.”
Please note: Our Zelle account email address is not ChurchinTorrance@gmail.com but
TheChurchinTorrance@gmail.com

9. We continue to maintain the Zoom meeting option for those who cannot attend the in-person gathering due to various reasons on the Lord’s Day. We also have set up the Zoom meeting equipment in each language prophesying room to enable hybrid prophesying meetings.
