Prayer Ministry of the Church in Torrance (3/10/2026)
Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, / I have appointed watchmen; / All day and all night / They will never keep silent. / You who remind Jehovah, / Do not be dumb;
And do not give Him quiet / Until He establishes / And until He makes Jerusalem / A praise in the earth. (Isa. 62:6-7)
Thus says Jehovah, / The Holy One of Israel and the One who formed him, / Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, / And concerning the work of My hands, command Me. (Isa. 45:11)
Thus says the Lord Jehovah, Moreover for this I will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. (Ezek. 36:37)

Please pray:
1. For the Shepherding of Seeking Ones after the Gospel trips in Italy:
Please continue to pray for the shepherding of the seeking ones who were contacted on the gospel trips during the Torch Relay and the Winter Olympics. Pray that new local churches will be raised up in Turin, Bologna, Prato, Naples, and other key cities, and that the churches in Rome, Milan, and Vicenza will be strengthened.
2. For the SCYP High School Sisters Conferences:
The SoCal High School Sisters Conference will be this weekend, March 13 to 15, at Oak Glen.
The topic is “The Unique Way of Faith.”
Please pray:
*For the faith of the brothers to be strengthened as they return to their ordinary days.
*For the Lord to prepare the beings of the sisters, that their conscience would be pure and void of offense, their heart would be soft and open towards Him.
*For each attendee to be freed from all distractions within and without so that they would thoroughly enjoy the Lord in these conferences.
*That, following the conference, all the young people will learn to walk with God, by not overriding Him, and seize the golden opportunity to perfect the faith of those who have come before.
** From Torrance, two high school sisters, Isabella and Mia, will attend this conference with their mother, Angie, who is also serving with the YP. Please remember the three of them in your prayers.
3. For the upcoming March ITERO:
The International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones will be in Anaheim from March 20 to 22. The general subject is “The Ministry of the Word and God’s Dispensing for God’s Economy.”
*Please pray for the rich and timely supply of Christ to be ministered to all the attending brothers that they may grow in life and be equipped further in their function and service.
*May the Lord gain and perfect all the attending brothers as able ministers of the New Testament, effective building material for the universal building up of the Body of Christ, and good stewards and serving ones in their respective local churches.
4. For the Young People’s Service/Meeting in Torrance:
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)
* Please pray that more saints would rise up and take the burden to pray for and shepherd the young people.
* Please pray that our current young people would be properly cared for in life and in truth, so that they may become the loving seekers of Christ in this evil age.
*Please pray that the Lord would bless the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.
5. For the Bible study at El Camino College:
The first Elco Bible study was held today. Nineteen students and five serving ones attended. Seven of the nineteen students attended for the first time.
Please pray that the Lord would bless the Bible study at El Camino College and gain some college students for His eternal purpose.
6. For The Truth Sets US Free:
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32)
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…” (Gal. 5:1a)
“For just as the rain comes down / And the snow from heaven, / And does not return there, / Until it waters the earth / And makes it bear and sprout forth, / That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; / So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; / It will not return to Me vainly, / But it will accomplish what I delight in, / And it will prosper in the matter to which I have sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11)
It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States, especially among the younger generations. In 2026, two significant events in the United States will present a unique opportunity for preaching the gospel and distributing the NT Recovery Version: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. We have a marvelous opportunity to rise up and spread God’s interpreted Word to hungry seekers throughout North America.
This special time calls for a special response. The present burden is that as many saints as possible would rise up to pray, give, and go to participate in the Lord’s move this year. Our prayer and hope is that the Lord would blend the churches, vitalize the saints, and establish the Recovery Version as the definitive Bible translation read by believers in the US, thus preparing this country to be used by Him at the end of this age. May we all gain a taste for sharing the gospel and helping people know Christ and be set free by the truth!
7. For the Gospel preaching and Truth spreading in the Torrance area:
[John 15:5, 16] I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you.
*Please pray for the vitalization of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way to bear fruits for the increase and spread of Christ.
*Pray that the Lord would bless the contacting of people through gospel preaching and the distribution of Bibles with ministry books, resulting in the bearing of much remaining fruit.
*Pray that the Lord would bring many young working saints and couples for the raising up of the next generation.
8. For the saints in Torrance who are ill for the sake of His divine interests (Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God):
*Please pray for sister Elsy, who has been hospitalized since the past Lord’s Day night.
*Please pray for brother Kwang-Il Kim, who will undergo a procedure or surgery related to his heart condition.
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
9. For the Lord to strengthen His move in Europe, Asia, Africa, and all other countries.
