Prayer Ministry of the Church in Torrance (4/7/2026)
Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, / I have appointed watchmen; / All day and all night / They will never keep silent. / You who remind Jehovah, / Do not be dumb;
And do not give Him quiet / Until He establishes / And until He makes Jerusalem / A praise in the earth. (Isa. 62:6-7)
Thus says Jehovah, / The Holy One of Israel and the One who formed him, / Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, / And concerning the work of My hands, command Me. (Isa. 45:11)
Thus says the Lord Jehovah, Moreover for this I will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. (Ezek. 36:37)
** We suggest that we all read one Life-study message at the prayer meeting every Tuesday night before we begin to pray for the following prayer items. Tonight, let’s read Message #87 of Life-study of Genesis.

Please pray:
1. The 2026 International French-Speaking Conference will be held in Paris on 10-12 April.
Please pray for the Lord’s word to run and be glorified in the French-speaking world through this conference.
2. FTTT Gospel Trips: April is the month for the Full-time Training in Taipei’s gospel trips abroad. This year, trainee teams are being sent to Europe (France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom), Africa (Zimbabwe), and other Asian nations (Cambodia, Japan, Laos, Sri Lanka, Thailand). The burden is for the trainees to gain experience in presenting the gospel to all kinds of people, especially college students, and to learn how to coordinate among themselves and with local saints. Such trips provide opportunities for the Lord’s further speaking and training in environments very different from the training center.
Please ask the Lord to supply the traveling trainees richly with His grace and hide them from any attack of the enemy. May the Lord impart to each one a personal burden for lifelong service within the context of His economy and move.
3. SoCal Spring College Conference will take place from Friday, April 10 to Lord’s Day, April 12. On Friday evening (4/10) from 7:30 to 9:30 PM, there will be five simultaneous cluster meetings held in Diamond Bar, Fullerton, Irvine, Los Angeles, and San Diego. All other meetings will be held at the meeting hall of the Church in Cerritos. A total of 11 (6 local saints and 5 Elco students) from Torrance plan to attend this weekend’s college conference.
The conference topic is “The Shining Testimony of Jesus.”
Please pray:
*That the students be freshly called out of their busyness to seek the Lord and His purpose in the meetings this weekend.
*That students be in spirit to see the universal church and local churches as the testimony of Jesus for their entrance into the church life.
*That many newer and younger ones be solidified and gained for God’s expression today.
4. The North America West Coast Korean-speaking Conference will be held from April 18 to April 19. The conference will take place at the meeting hall of the Church in Cerritos (12061 Del Amo Blvd, Cerritos, CA 90703) and online via Zoom.
General Subject: The Ministry of the Word and God’s Dispensing for God’s Economy
Please pray that the Lord would fully release His up-to-date burden from the recent ITERO messages during this conference, and for the blending of the saints for the building up of the Body of Christ.
5. For the Shepherding of Seeking Ones after the Gospel trips in Italy:
Please pray for:
*The Lord to thrust out workers for ongoing shepherding trips in Italy. Saints are invited to come according to their availability, including longer trips over one month or shorter trips of one week or more.
*The beginning of the translation of the Italian New Testament Recovery Version this spring.
6. Please pray for sister Pauline: Our sister is scheduled to have an immigration hearing before a judge on 4/22/2026. It is a critical process that will determine whether she may continue to remain legally in the United States or face deportation.
*Please pray for God’s sovereign mercy to be over her case, and for a positive outcome for the sake of His divine interests.
7. For the Young People’s Service/Meeting in Torrance:
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)
* Please pray that more saints would rise up and take the burden to pray for and shepherd the young people.
* Please pray that our current young people would be properly cared for in life and in truth, so that they may become the loving seekers of Christ in this evil age.
*Please pray that the Lord would bless the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.
8. For the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH (California State University, Dominguez Hills):
Please pray that the Lord would open a clear and effectual door for the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH, preparing the interceding ones, serving ones, the environment, the administration, and the students’ hearts for His move on the campus.
“Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest that He would thrust out workers into His harvest.” [Matthew 9:38]
9. For The Truth Sets US Free (TSUF):
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32)
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…” (Gal. 5:1a)
It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States, especially among the younger generations. In 2026, two significant events in the United States will present a unique opportunity for preaching the gospel and distributing the NT Recovery Version: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. We have a marvelous opportunity to rise up and spread God’s interpreted Word to hungry seekers throughout North America.
This special time calls for a special response. The present burden is that as many saints as possible would rise up to pray, give, and go to participate in the Lord’s move this year. Our prayer and hope is that the Lord would blend the churches, vitalize the saints, and establish the Recovery Version as the definitive Bible translation read by believers in the US, thus preparing this country to be used by Him at the end of this age. May we all gain a taste for sharing the gospel and helping people know Christ and be set free by the truth!
10. For the saints who have lost their loved ones or are ill for the sake of His divine interests (The all-inclusive Christ, the Kingdom of God, and the House of God):
* Sisters Maria and Emma were in a car accident last Friday, and sister Maria had sustained injuries to her head and hand. Please pray for her full and speedy recovery, and for a richer, deeper experience and enjoyment of Christ during this difficult time.
*Sister Elsy Lopez passed away to be with the Lord. Please pray that the Lord will comfort brother Candie and the family in His abounding grace during this time of loss.
