Prayer Ministry of the Church in Torrance (5/12/2026)
Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, / I have appointed watchmen; / All day and all night / They will never keep silent. / You who remind Jehovah, / Do not be dumb;
And do not give Him quiet / Until He establishes / And until He makes Jerusalem / A praise in the earth. (Isa. 62:6-7)
Thus says Jehovah, / The Holy One of Israel and the One who formed him, / Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, / And concerning the work of My hands, command Me. (Isa. 45:11)
Thus says the Lord Jehovah, Moreover for this I will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. (Ezek. 36:37)

Please pray:
1. For The Truth Sets US Free (TSUF) and Local Participation in Torrance area:
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32)
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…” (Gal. 5:1a)
It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States, especially among the younger generations. In 2026, two significant events in the United States will present a unique opportunity for preaching the gospel and distributing the NT Recovery Version: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. We have a marvelous opportunity to rise up and spread God’s interpreted Word to hungry seekers throughout North America. This special time calls for a special response. The present burden is that as many saints as possible would rise up to pray, give, and go to participate in the Lord’s move this year.
Please pray:
*That all the saints in Torrance would rise up and participate in His move through prayer and by going out to distribute the NT RcV Bibles and gospel tracts to local people and believers in the South Bay area.
*That we would preach the complete gospel to unbelievers and minister the deeper truths to seekers in our area as one team, regardless of language, in a blended way with strong one accord.
*That we would gain a taste for sharing the gospel, helping people know Christ, and helping them be set free by the truth.
2. For the first Lord’s table in Prato, Italy and mini conference:
The first Lord’s table will take place in Prato, Italy, on 17 May, preceded by a mini conference on 16 May. The city of Prato is situated approximately 10 miles from Florence in the northeast of Tuscany. It is the third largest city in Central Italy and the leading textile and clothing hub in Europe. Saints have been gathering for meetings and mutual shepherding since at least 2006. To date, there are at least 23 homes and over 90 saints with varying degrees of participation in the church life.
Please pray:
*That the Lord will be glorified and magnified through the first Lord’s table in Prato.
*That the Lord continues to move throughout Italy and raise up many more golden lampstands for His glory and His praise, and for the shame of His enemy.
3. 2026 SPRING CEEB Blending Conference in Belgrade, Serbia:
The 2026 spring blending conference of the churches in the Central and Eastern Europe and Balkan (CEEB) countries will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, on 15-17 May.
The general subject of the conference: The ministry of the word
and God’s dispensing for God’s economy
Please pray that the Lord’s move to increase and build up His Body in these countries will advance through His speaking in this conference.
4. For the BfA Korean Section:
Recently, through fellowship with the leading brothers in BfA (Bibles for America), the BfA Korean Section is being launched.
The BfA Korean Section will operate as an affiliate of BfA, like Bibles for New Zealand, Bibles for Europe, and Bibles for Canada under the same policies and principles of BfA. Their website is www.BiblesforAmerica.org/ko.
*Please pray for the Lord’s blessing on the BfA Korean Section for the spread of His divine truths among Koreans in the United States.
*Please also pray that the Lord would meet all their practical needs, including financial need.
5. For the Young People’s Service/Meeting in Torrance:
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)
* Please pray that more saints would rise up and take the burden to pray for and shepherd the young people.
* Please pray that our current young people would be properly cared for in life and in truth, so that they may become the loving seekers of Christ in this evil age.
*Please pray that the Lord would bless the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.
6. For the Bible study at El Camino College:
Please pray that the Lord would bless the Bible study at El Camino College and gain some college students for His eternal purpose.
7. For the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH (California State University, Dominguez Hills):
Please pray that the Lord would open a clear and effectual door for the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH, preparing the interceding ones, serving ones, the environment, the administration, and the students’ hearts for His move on the campus.
“Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest that He would thrust out workers into His harvest.” [Matthew 9:38]
8. For the saints who have lost their loved ones or are ill for the sake of His divine interests (The all-inclusive Christ, the Kingdom of God, and the House of God):
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
