Prayer for the saints to make a vow concerning their prayer life:
Pray that the saints would be deeply touched with the importance of their prayer and with the great resistance to their prayer, and that they would make a vow to the Lord concerning their prayer life (Eph. 6:18-19a; Col. 4:2; Dan. 10:12-13).

Eph. 6:18-19a — By means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints, and for me.
Col. 4:2 — Persevere in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving.
Dan. 10:12-13 — And he said to me, Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand this matter and to afflict yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for twenty-one days; but now Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I remained there alone with the kings of Persia.

Continuing steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word:
We suggest that we all read one Life-study message at the prayer meeting every Tuesday night before we begin to pray for the following prayer items. Tonight, let’s read Message #104 of Life-study of Genesis.

Please pray:

1. For the beginning of the Fall Term of 2026 FTTA and FTTA-XB:
The Fall term of Full-time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) and Boston Extension Training (FTTA-XB) began last Lord’s Day (August 9).

Please pray:
* That the Lord will raise up many consecrated and trained young saints who will cooperate fully with the Lord’s present move to build up His Body and prepare His Bride to consummate this age through this training.
* That all the trainees come with an open heart and an exercised spirit, consecrating themselves fully to the Lord to be trained in every aspect of their person and living.

2. For the beginning of FTTL fall term (August 17):
The fall term of the Full-time Training in London (FTTL) will begin on 17 August.

Please pray that the Lord will raise up many consecrated and trained young brothers and sisters who will cooperate fully with His present move to spread and build up His testimony in Europe.

3. Special prayer requests for the sick ones for the sake of God’s divine interests:
“Then they cried out to Jehovah in their trouble, / And He saved them out of their distresses. He sent forth His word and healed them…” (Psalm 107:19-20)
“And if they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who have carried them captive, and they pray to You toward their land that You have given to their fathers, the city that You have chosen, and the house that I have built for Your name; …Then hear their prayer and their supplication in the heavens and maintain their cause.” (1 Kings 8:48, 45)

1) Sister Iris:
She had a brain biopsy yesterday, August 10, 2026, which lasted 2 hours. A

2 mm cancerous mass was removed and this morning she was told that it was cancerous and had metastasized. She will most likely need chemo & radiation as the next step, depending on the biopsy report.

2) Naomi (daughter of Branden & Katrin)
The following update is from Branden & Katrin today:
“After today’s visit, the doctor thinks it’s still an infection. Because of the swelling we need to do another surgery this Thursday. And then go back on antibiotics. After the surgery we will see infectious disease for specialty testing.”

3) Sister Jenny:
About some weeks ago, Jenny experienced optic nerve paralysis, which has significantly affected the vision in one eye. The doctors expect that it will take some time for her vision to recover.

(Footnote for 1 Kings 8:48)
Verses 31- 48 mention seven conditions concerning God’s listening to the prayers of His elect. In this, the last, condition three things are stressed (v. 48): the Holy Land, typifying Christ as the portion allotted by God to the believers (see note 71 in Deut. 8); the holy city, signifying the kingdom of God in Christ (Psa. 48:1-2); and the holy temple, signifying God’s house, the church, on the earth (Eph. 2:21; 1 Tim. 3:15). These are the three crucial things regarding God’s economy. During the Babylonian captivity Daniel prayed toward the Holy Land, the holy city, and the holy temple three times a day by opening his window toward Jerusalem (Dan. 6:10). This indicates that God will listen to our prayer when our prayer to God is toward Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God as the goal in God’s eternal economy. This means that no matter for whom we are praying, our prayers should be aimed at the interests of God, i.e., at Christ and the church as God’s interests on earth, for the fulfilling of God’s economy.

4. For the follow-up to the European Young People and Family Conference:
In total, 1,790 saints — representing 44 countries and 20 languages — attended the EYPFC, which ended August 1.

Please pray:
* That the young people continue to go up the mountain to have face-to-face fellowship with God, particularly by coming to Him in His Word regularly.
* That they cooperate with the “positive pressure” they sense from the indwelling Christ to preach the gospel to those the Lord has placed on their hearts, and if they have not yet had any names written on their hearts, that the Lord write some names there.
* That the Lord raise up many families for the church life across the world, particularly in Europe.

5. For the follow-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Gospel Outreach in Los Angeles area:
From June 11 to July 19, many saints from the churches in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas went out and distributed a total of 1,825 Bibles (1,412 English, 236 Spanish, 177 Korean), 275 Spanish Gospels of John, and 2,654 tracts, resulting in 141 contact requests.

Please pray:
* That each recipient be inspired and reminded to open their New Testament daily and be granted a spirit of wisdom and revelation concerning His divine economy.
* That there may be diligent follow-up with those interested in further fellowship.
* That the Lord may instill in all the saints a heart for the people and may develop in them a gospel living that is “ready in season and out of season” (2 Tim. 4:2).

6. For the GTCA (Gospelize, Truthize, Churchize America) – California Central Coast:
GTCA has announced the burden for the Lord’s move in the Central Coast area of California between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Saints have been meeting as the churches in both localities for more than 25 years. These cities are home to the UCSB and Cal Poly SLO campuses; each also has a community college. This geographical area spanning roughly 100 miles includes multiple small- to medium-sized cities. In recent months, there have been two conferences for the saints in this area and those burdened for the Lord’s move there.

Please pray:
* That He would continue preparing the saints in SB and SLO for His move in the Central Coast by their being blended and built up together, and learning together how to move practically as “one church.”
* That He would call, stir, burden, loose, and move inwardly in many saints — singles, couples, and families — whom He has chosen to strengthen this area.

The burden is for at least 40 saints to migrate.

7. For the Short-term shepherding trips and migrations to French-speaking Europe:
Please pray:
* That the Lord will raise up lampstands in Rouen, Versailles, Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), Geneva (Switzerland), Marseilles, Caen, Nante, and Montpellier.
* That the Lord will increase the team of full-time serving ones in Paris to take care of the Lord’s needs throughout French-speaking Europe. Please pray for the release of long stay visas for these saints.
* That many students, families, and mature saints will migrate to France within the next several years for the Lord’s interest.

8. For the Young People’s Service/Meeting in Torrance:
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)

Please pray:
* That more saints would rise up and take the burden to pray for and shepherd the young people.
* That our current young people would be properly cared for in life and in truth, so that they may become the loving seekers of Christ in this evil age.
* That the Lord would bless the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.

9. For the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH (California State University, Dominguez Hills):
Please pray that the Lord would open a clear and effectual door for the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH, preparing the interceding ones, serving ones, the environment, the administration, and the students’ hearts for His move on the campus.

“Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest that He would thrust out workers into His harvest.” [Matthew 9:38]

10. For the saints who have lost their loved ones or are ill for the sake of His divine interests (The all-inclusive Christ, the Kingdom of God, and the House of God):
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
