Prayer for the saints to see the tremendous benefits of prayer:
Pray that the saints would be impressed with the tremendous benefits of prayer both to the Lord’s Body corporately and to themselves personally as an encouragement to persevere in prayer. (Col. 4:2; 3:1-2; Heb. 4:16; Hymns, #770, s. 1).

Continuing steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4):
We suggest that we all read one Life-study message at the prayer meeting every Tuesday night before we begin to pray for the following prayer items. Tonight, let’s read Message #113 of Life-study of Genesis.

Please pray:

1. For the follow-up of the Fall 2026 Junior High Conferences:
The Fall 2026 Junior High Conferences were held last weekend. The sisters gathered in Diamond Bar and the brothers in Huntington Beach.
The topic was “The Living and Abiding Word of God.”

From Torrance, Jayden and Branden (a serving one) attended this conference.

Through the four messages, they saw that reading the Bible regularly is important and that eating the Word is both enjoyable and life-supplying.

Please pray:
* That each young person develop a consistent habit of reading the Bible with their parents.
* That they approach the Bible not in the way of routine, but of eating with enjoyment and contacting God.
* That they receive much life and life supply through their eating of the Word to be constituted as men of God with the breath of God.

2. For the Meeting to Establish the Church in Bremen, Germany (18 October):
At present, approximately 27 saints and 11 children participate in the church life in Bremen. In addition, about eight other saints from the surrounding cities regularly come to the meetings in Bremen.

According to the fellowship of the brothers in the Body of Christ, the church in Bremen will take the ground on October 18, 2026. This is another step in the Lord’s work in His Body and an expression of His blessing.

Please pray that the Lord will gain a strong and bright testimony through the raising up of a golden lampstand in Bremen.

3. For the SoCal Praise and Ministry Meeting:
Twice a year, college students throughout Southern California gather on a Saturday evening to worship the Lord and hear His speaking. This Saturday, October 17, UC Riverside will be hosting the meeting on campus. High school seniors are also invited to attend.

Please pray:
* For the students to come and participate—that many students throughout SoCal, including newer ones, would attend, blend, and actively participate in the meeting.
* For the Lord’s speaking to infuse the students—that He would speak to the students and infuse them with Himself through His word.

4. For the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH (California State University, Dominguez Hills):
As an initial step, we plan to begin by distributing BfA Bibles on campus. We have begun contacting several departments at CSUDH through official inquiry emails on behalf of Bibles for America (BfA), and we have received a positive response from the relevant department regarding the distribution of BfA Bibles on campus.

Please pray:
* That the Lord of the harvest would open a clear and effectual door for the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH, preparing the interceding ones, the serving ones, the environment, the administration, and the students’ hearts for His move on the campus.
* That many local saints would receive the burden from the Lord and stand firm in one spirit, with one soul striving together along with the faith of the gospel, to gain the young students for His Body (Phil. 1:27).

“Therefore, beseech the Lord of the harvest that He would thrust out workers into His harvest.” [Matthew 9:38]

5. For the Gospel Work at El Camino College:
During the recent ELCO Club Rush, many students signed up for the Bible study.

Please pray that the Lord would bless the Bible study on campus so that these new students may be saved and gained for His Body.

6. For the dormant and backslidden ones to be recovered:
Please pray that the dormant and backslidden ones would be recovered through our shepherding according to God, following the pattern of the apostle Paul, who shepherded the saints as a nursing mother and an exhorting father in caring for God’s flock.

7. For the Young People’s Service/Meeting in Torrance:
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)

Please pray:
* That more saints would rise up and take the burden to pray for and shepherd the young people.
* That our current young people would be properly cared for in life and in truth, so that they may become the loving seekers of Christ in this evil age.
* That the Lord would bless the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.

8. For the saints who have lost their loved ones or are ill for the sake of His divine interests (The all-inclusive Christ, the Kingdom of God, and the House of God):
“And if they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who have carried them captive, and they pray to You toward their land that You have given to their fathers, the city that You have chosen, and the house that I have built for Your name; …Then hear their prayer and their supplication in the heavens and maintain their cause.” (1 Kings 8:48, 45)
