Prayer Ministry of the Church in Torrance (2/24/2026)
Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, / I have appointed watchmen; / All day and all night / They will never keep silent. / You who remind Jehovah, / Do not be dumb;
And do not give Him quiet / Until He establishes / And until He makes Jerusalem / A praise in the earth. (Isa. 62:6-7)
Thus says Jehovah, / The Holy One of Israel and the One who formed him, / Ask Me about the things to come concerning My sons, / And concerning the work of My hands, command Me. (Isa. 45:11)
Thus says the Lord Jehovah, Moreover for this I will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. (Ezek. 36:37)

Please pray:
1. For the Gospel trips in Italy (January and February)
A report on the final gospel trip in Italy, OL2 in Milan and Turin, is available here (https://lordsmove.org/pdfs/Report-on-OL2-Milan-Turin-2-22-26.pdf). Please see the prayer burdens in this report.
Since the first gospel trip (TR1), started in early December 2025, until now, at the close of the last gospel trip (OL2), it has been evident that the Lord is moving in our move! There has been a “wheel within the wheel,” and many seeds have been sown in the places these teams have visited (map shows all the cities where teams visited). Our expectation is that surely the Lord will keep operating in people’s hearts so that the seeds will grow and develop, giving Him the way to raise up groups of seekers and lovers in these places. OL2 is the last gospel trip. But He is not ending His moving in Italy; He is continuing to move. For this, may we remain one with Him in our praying, giving, and going.
[Prayer Burdens for the Lord’s Work in Italy]
Milan
Pray:
*That the new ones whom we met in Milan will continue being shepherded.
*That we will meet more sons of peace from the universities.
*For the new ones to be connected to the saints through the continual shepherding and cherishing from all the local saints.
*That the Lord will continue to release more times with students.
*For the students to continue to respond to our messages.
Turin
Pray:
*That divine-human coffees and mealtimes will be a real feeding and filling spiritually.
*For the availability of the saints for further shepherding and blending.
*For the continuation of the care for the positive new ones.
*For the migration of saints, particularly families, for the ongoing and continued labor in Turin for the raising up a solid, shining, golden lampstand.
*For the continued blended labor of the visiting saints with the local saints to follow up the open new ones and gain solid ones who will also stand for the Lord’s testimony in Turin. 6. For the continued preaching of the gospel to the open and seeking local people.
2. For the SoCal Praise and Ministry Meeting
Twice a year all college students in Southern California are invited to come together on a Saturday evening for a time to worship the Lord together and hear His speaking. This Saturday, February 28, this meeting will take place on the UCLA campus. High school seniors are also invited.
Please pray:
*For many of our students throughout the region, including newer ones, to come and actively participate.
*For the Lord to infuse the students through His speaking and unveil the vision of God’s purpose to them in a fresh way.
3. For the resumption of the Young People Service/Meeting in Torrance
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)
*Please pray that more saints rise up and take the burden to shepherd the young people.
*Please pray for the orientation session for the YP serving ones and parents, which is planned for March 1 (this coming Lord’s Day).
*Please pray that the Lord blesses the YP service/meeting in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.
4. For The Truth Sets US Free
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32)
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…” (Gal. 5:1a)
“For just as the rain comes down / And the snow from heaven, / And does not return there, / Until it waters the earth / And makes it bear and sprout forth, / That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; / So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; / It will not return to Me vainly, / But it will accomplish what I delight in, / And it will prosper in the matter to which I have sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11)
It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States, especially among the younger generations. In 2026, two significant events in the United States will present a unique opportunity for preaching the gospel and distributing the NT Recovery Version: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. We have a marvelous opportunity to rise up and spread God’s interpreted Word to hungry seekers throughout North America.
This special time calls for a special response. The present burden is that as many saints as possible would rise up to pray, give, and go to participate in the Lord’s move this year. Our prayer and hope is that the Lord would blend the churches, vitalize the saints, and establish the Recovery Version as the definitive Bible translation read by believers in the US, thus preparing this country to be used by Him at the end of this age. May we all gain a taste for sharing the gospel and helping people know Christ and be set free by the truth!
5. For the Gospel preaching and Truth spreading in the Torrance area
[John 15:5, 16] I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you.
*Please pray for the vitalization of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way to bear fruits for the increase and spread of Christ.
*Pray that the Lord would bless the contacting of people through gospel preaching and the distribution of Bibles with ministry books, resulting in the bearing of much remaining fruit.
*Pray that the Lord would bring many young working saints and couples for the raising up of the next generation.
6. For Brother Joseph Malet’s family and the memorial meeting
Please pray that the Father of compassion and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, comforts sister Cece and the family in this difficult time.
Please pray that the upcoming memorial meeting will be held in the atmosphere of resurrection and living hope through the bountiful supply of the Spirit.
7. For the saints in Torrance who are ill for the sake of His divine interests(Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God):
Please pray for sister Irma (wife of brother Richard L.). Recently, she was involved in an accident that resulted in a concussion and whiplash. She is currently under her doctor’s care and receiving ongoing treatment for pain in her neck and back.
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
8. For the Lord to strengthen His move in Europe, Asia, Africa, and all other countries.
