“I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men; On behalf of kings and all who are in high position, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all godliness and gravity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of our Savior God,” (1 Tim. 2:1-3)

- Special Prayer Request for the Lord’s Move in Russia:
Dear brothers (and sisters),
The Appeal court hearing in Moscow regarding the New Testament Recovery version took place on July 15. After hearing the defense lawyers’ presentation of the case, the judge scheduled another hearing for July 30 with a view of a deeper study of the case. For this purpose, the court requested additional materials regarding the New Testament and Witness Lee’s teaching, which were promptly submitted by us to the court on July 16. Our hope is that on July 30 a new, unbiased expert review of the case will be ordered, which will eventually allow an annulment of the accusations contained in the previous court ruling.
We believe that this is the Lord’s answer to the many prayer that have been offered in the past months by many saints in many parts of the earth. We thank and worship the Lord for this move of His Body.
In the coming days, we ask you to please continue to pray along the following lines:
– that a new, unbiased review of the case would be ordered on July 30;
– that the Lord would move through intensified prayers of His entire Body;
– that the Lord would carry out His best will concerning His recovery in the Russian-speaking world, protecting and preserving His testimony there;
– that the evil spiritual forces in the heavenlies would be bound and that Christ’s victory would be displayed for the carrying out of God’s economy.

- For the Summer School of Truth(SSOT) 2025:
SSOT 2025 for the young people in the churches in East Los Angeles, Inglewood, South Gate, El Monte, Downey, Montebello, and Torrance began this past weekend and will end tomorrow, Wednesday, July 23. From Torrance Isabella, Mia, and Jayden are attending SSOT.
This time is absolutely crucial for our young people to be unveiled to see the revelation of God’s intention. As the young people receive the Word, the veils will be taken away so that they may see something of the Triune God. A certain matter may be hidden from their view, but by the turning of their heart and the teaching of the Word, the veils are gradually taken away.
“But whenever their heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” (2 Corinthians 3:16)
Please pray for this time, that the hearts of the young people would be good earth for the Lord’s word, and that this time would truly be a summer “restaurant” of truth in which the tasty dishes and the healthy teaching of God’s economy are served to the young people for their constitution and enjoyment unto the building up of the Body of Christ.
- For the 2025 North America Chinese-speaking Saints Perfecting Training:
This summer’s perfecting training for Chinese-speaking saints in North America will take place in two phases—July 23 to 27 in Camp Penuel, New York and July 30 to August 3 in Cerritos. The general subject is “Go and Bear Remaining Fruit.” Please pray for the Lord to:
- Strengthen, protect, and prepare the saints who have registered for this training.
- Cover all the practical needs of the training so that the burden of the training can be fully released.
- Encourage and perfect the seeking Chinese-speaking saints in the churches in truth, life, and service.
- For theEuropean young people’s conference and family camp (27 July—2 August):
The annual European young people’s conference and European family camp will take place on 27 July—2 August in Male Ciche, Poland. Information is available at ypconferences.eu. Please pray for the Lord’s speaking to the young people and families in Europe and their response for the advancement of His move in Europe.
- For the Church website:
Our newly updated church website, ChurchinTorrance.org, has recently been launched. It is not yet complete or perfect, but we will continue to improve and develop it little by little. More details about the website will be introduced later.
Please pray that the Lord will bless and use our church website for us to experience and enjoy the All-inclusive Christ more, and for outside seekers to have greater accessibility to the divine and deeper truths.
- For the saints in Torrance who are ill:
Please continue to pray for sister Elsy Lopez, brother Hak Nam, brother Kwang Kim, and brother Joseph Malet.
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant healing through His all-sufficient grace, enabling them to experience and enjoy Christ throughout every medical procedure.
- For the vitalizing of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way for the increase of the church in Torrance:
Pray that the contacting of the people and the gaining of the seeking ones in the Torrance area through gospel preaching and the distribution of Bibles with the ministry books would be blessed and be fruitful for the increase of Christ inwardly and outwardly.
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain…” [John 15:16]
- For the young people and children to be preservedfrom the present evil age and gained by the Lord for His purpose.
- For the Lord’s Move to Asia & Africa:
Nepal: Pray for the campus work, that more students who are open and willing to read the Bible would be gained, and that 10 stable home meetings would be established in July.
Tajikistan: Pray that the door of the gospel would be opened on the campuses, and that high-quality students would be gained, so the saints may bear six remaining fruit this year.
Azerbaijan: May the Lord strengthen the church life, uplifting the saints’ enjoyment and experience of Christ so they may grow in life through the regular enjoyment of God’s word.
Vietnam: Pray that the serving saints would have the spirit of wisdom and revelation, a sober mind, and good health, so that the translation of the Old Testament may be completed soon.
* Pray that the Lord may have a way in the following countries/region without the Lord’s testimony: Afghanistan, Iraq, Maldives, North Korea, Palestine, Syria, Turkmenistan and Yemen.
