Prayer Ministry of the Church in Torrance (3/17/2026)
Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, / I have appointed watchmen; / All day and all night / They will never keep silent. / You who remind Jehovah, / Do not be dumb;

Please pray:
1. For the March 2026 The International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones (ITERO): It will be held in Anaheim from this Friday, March 20 to Lord’s Day at noon, March 22. The general subject is “The Ministry of the Word and God’s Dispensing for God’s Economy.”
Please pray:
*For the Lord to release His up-to-date ministry of the word to all the elders and responsible brothers.
*For all the elders and responsible brothers to be perfected through His up-to-date speaking in the training so that they can carry out the ministry of reconciliation and minister life to the Body in their localities.
*For their group study sessions to review the messages and for their blending with brothers from other localities and countries, that they would enjoy the reality of the Body of Christ.
2. For the beginning of Spring 2026 Term of The Middle-age Training (FTTA-MA):
It began yesterday (3/16/2026). A total of 94 saints from 11 countries are participating in this term of the training.
Please pray:
*For His blessing and supplying of all the trainees, teaching brothers, and serving ones.
*For the pre-training this week.
*For all the mid-age trainees to be poor in spirit, unloading everything—including past experiences—so that they may be open and empty vessels to receive a new supply and fresh dispensing from the Lord, to be perfected for the Body of Christ.
3. Please pray for sister Pauline:
*Our sister has an immigration hearing before a judge tomorrow (Wednesday), a critical process that will determine whether she may continue to remain legally in the United States or face deportation.
*Please pray for God’s sovereign mercy to be over her case and for a positive outcome.
*Please pray that our sister would find favor before the judge in a way that is beneficial to the building up of the Body, for the sake of His divine interests—Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God—as she attends her asylum hearing.
*May the judge and all those involved be guided by the Spirit of God concerning our sister’s case.
4. For the Shepherding of Seeking Ones after the Gospel trips in Italy:
Please continue to pray for the shepherding of the seeking ones who were contacted on the gospel trips during the Torch Relay and the Winter Olympics. Pray that new local churches will be raised up in Turin, Bologna, Prato, Naples, and other key cities, and that the churches in Rome, Milan, and Vicenza will be strengthened.
5. For the Young People’s Service/Meeting in Torrance:
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)
* Please pray that more saints would rise up and take the burden to pray for and shepherd the young people.
* Please pray that our current young people would be properly cared for in life and in truth, so that they may become the loving seekers of Christ in this evil age.
*Please pray that the Lord would bless the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.
6. For the Bible study at El Camino College:
The second Elco Bible study was held today. Seventeen students and four serving ones attended. Please pray that the Lord would bless the Bible study at El Camino College and gain some college students for His eternal purpose.
7. For the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH (California State University, Dominguez Hills):
Please pray that the Lord would open a clear and effectual door for the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH, preparing the interceding ones, serving ones, the environment, the administration, and the students’ hearts for His move on the campus.
“Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest that He would thrust out workers into His harvest.” [Matthew 9:38]
8. For Truth Sets US Free (TSUF)
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32)
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…” (Gal. 5:1a)
“For just as the rain comes down / And the snow from heaven, / And does not return there, / Until it waters the earth / And makes it bear and sprout forth, / That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; / So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; / It will not return to Me vainly, / But it will accomplish what I delight in, / And it will prosper in the matter to which I have sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11)
It is evident that a spiritual seeking and hunger for the truth is increasing throughout the United States, especially among the younger generations. In 2026, two significant events in the United States will present a unique opportunity for preaching the gospel and distributing the NT Recovery Version: the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the FIFA World Cup matches. We have a marvelous opportunity to rise up and spread God’s interpreted Word to hungry seekers throughout North America.
This special time calls for a special response. The present burden is that as many saints as possible would rise up to pray, give, and go to participate in the Lord’s move this year. Our prayer and hope is that the Lord would blend the churches, vitalize the saints, and establish the Recovery Version as the definitive Bible translation read by believers in the US, thus preparing this country to be used by Him at the end of this age. May we all gain a taste for sharing the gospel and helping people know Christ and be set free by the truth!
9. For the Gospel preaching and Truth spreading in the Torrance area:
[John 15:5, 16] I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and I set you that you should go forth and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give you.
*Please pray for the vitalization of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way to bear fruits for the increase and spread of Christ.
*Pray that the Lord would bless the contacting of people through gospel preaching and the distribution of Bibles with ministry books, resulting in the bearing of much remaining fruit.
*Pray that the Lord would bring many young working saints and couples for the raising up of the next generation.
10. For the saints in Torrance who are ill for the sake of His divine interests (Christ, the kingdom of God, and the house of God):
*Please pray for sister Elsy Lopez, sister Norma Dumaliang, and brother Kwang-Il Kim.
(Sister Elsy had the GI tube placed. She will be discharged tomorrow to a facility that can help with GI tube feeding for 2-3 weeks.)
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
11. For the Lord to strengthen His move in Europe, Asia, Africa, and all other countries.
