1. Holy Word for Morning Revival: This week, we will be enjoying Week #3 message, “The Prayer That Is Critical to the Kingdom Life”, from a new HWMR book, “Crucial Aspects of Matthew 5 Through 7”. These messages were given during September 2025 ITERO (The International Training for Elders and Responsible Ones) held in Malaysia.
2. The memorial meeting for Brother Joseph Malet will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM PST at the meeting hall of the church in Torrance. You can join online with Zoom ID 974 499 3520.
*A simple lunch will be served for those attending in person.
*Parking: We encourage our local saints to park across the street at Lomita City Hall so that visitors can park at the meeting hall.
3. Resumption of the Young People’s Service in Torrance:
During these years, among a few churches, often I have emphatically charged the brothers and sisters that they must take care of the young people. Because I emphasize this point, it makes the older ones feel very uncomfortable. Sometimes some of them say, “Brother Lee is simply causing the young people to rebel!” Today I speak this before the Lord. The reason I purposely encourage young people is that I clearly realize one thing: if a church cannot raise up the young people, this church has no future. If a local church that has been meeting for many years is not able to raise up the new ones to serve the Lord, it will be like a couple who have been married for many years without children. When this couple have grown old, what would happen to the family? This is why I conclude that a church must have young people at all costs. The church needs the second generation. The future of the church hinges on the young people. (The Elders’ Management of the Church, pp. 108-109)
Yesterday, an orientation session for the YP serving ones and parents was held during lunchtime from 12:40 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. in the Spanish-speaking room. (From now on, the Spanish-speaking room will be used as the YP meeting room until further arrangements are made.)
During this orientation time, we shared the opening word on “The Vision and Importance of Young People’s Service for the Future of the Church and the Lord’s Recovery.” We feel that the Lord truly blessed and anointed our orientation session. Praise Him for this!
The first YP meeting is scheduled to be held on March 8.
Please continue to pray that the Lord blesses the YP service/meeting in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His move and eternal economy.
4. The Truth Sets Us Free—Second Webinar:
There was a second webinar (a seminar held on the web) for all the churches in North America hosted by BfA (Bibles for America) on February 22, 2026.
In this webinar brother Minoru C. shared the continued burden regarding The Truth Sets US Free. Other saints shared the reports and encouraging testimonies.
John 8:32 says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”
Isa. 55:11 says, “So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; / It will not return to Me vainly, /But it will accomplish what I delight in, / And it will prosper in the matter to which I have sent it.”
5. Local Participation in The Truth Sets US Free (TSUF):
We, the church in Torrance, will actively participate in preaching the gospel and spreading the high truths both locally and regionally. We will preach the complete gospel to unbelievers and minister the deeper truths to seekers in our area as one team, regardless of language, in a blended way with strong one accord. We ask for your prayers and participation for this matter.
6. General Services for the month of March 2026: Korean-speaking saints will serve in four designated areas:
1) Lord’s Table Set-up, 2) Love Feast Set-up, 3) Kitchen Clean-up, and 4) Hall Cleaning.
* Please remember to clean building #2 as well, except for the children’s meeting room.
7. Bible Reading Scheduler:
Living Stream Ministry has developed a website that can be used to create a schedule for reading the Holy Bible Recovery Version regularly in several different ways. The scheduler is located at “schedule.recoveryversion.bible”. A schedule created on this website can be used to read the Bible without footnotes in addition to reading the New Testament with footnotes according to the schedule.
If we read the Word of God regularly, we will become what we read (see CWWL, 1977, vol. 1, pp. 6-7).
8. Donation by Online banking, ZELLE:
If your bank allows you to use the Zelle service to send money, you may send your offering to the church online by Zelle. Please use this email address thechurchintorrance@gmail.com to send donations by “Zelle.”
Please note: Our Zelle account email address is not ChurchinTorrance@gmail.com but
TheChurchinTorrance@gmail.com
9. We continue to maintain the Zoom meeting option for those who cannot attend the in-person gathering due to various reasons on the Lord’s Day. We also have set up the Zoom meeting equipment in each language prophesying room to enable hybrid prophesying meetings.
