Prayer for the saints to see the importance of a prayer life
Pray for the saints to realize that to have a proper church life that carries out God’s economy, they must have a proper prayer life, and pray that they would practice to have such a prayer life in this new year (1 Tim. 1:4; 2:1-4; Acts 6:4; 1 Sam. 12:23a).

1 Tim. 1:4 — Nor to give heed to myths and unending genealogies, which produce questionings rather than God’s economy, which is in faith.
1 Tim. 2:1-4 — I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men; on behalf of kings and all who are in high position, that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all godliness and gravity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of our Savior God, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.
Acts 6:4 — But we will continue steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word.
1 Sam. 12:23a — Moreover as for me, far be it from me that I would sin against Jehovah by ceasing to pray for you.

Continuing steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word
We suggest that we all read one Life-study message at the prayer meeting every Tuesday night before we begin to pray for the following prayer items. Tonight, let’s read Message #103 of Life-study of Genesis.

Please pray:

1. For the beginning of the Fall Term of 2026 FTTA and FTTA-XB:
The Fall term of Full-time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) and Boston Extension Training (FTTA-XB) will begin on August 9.

Please pray:
* That the Lord will raise up many consecrated and trained young brothers and sisters who will cooperate fully with the Lord’s present move to build up His Body and prepare His Bride to consummate this age.
* That the Lord shepherd each one He has called to be trained all the way to the FTTA, and that the enemy will have no way to distract them or frustrate their coming.
* That all the trainees come with an open heart and an exercised spirit, consecrating themselves fully to the Lord to be trained in every aspect of their person and living.

2. For the follow-up to the 2026 North American Chinese-speaking Saints’ Perfecting Training:
The two-week perfecting training concluded this past weekend.
The general subject was “Building the House of God.”

Please pray:
* That the Lord’s speaking during this training be prayed over, digested, and assimilated by all the attendees, and that through this word the Lord advance His move among the Chinese-speaking saints in North America for the sake of His house.
* That from this training as the injection point, this critical word be received by the saints, regardless of language, in all the churches.
3. For the follow-up to the European Young People and Family Conference:
In total, 1,790 saints — representing 44 countries and 20 languages — attended the EYPFC, which ended August 1.

Please pray:
* That the young people continue to go up the mountain to have face-to-face fellowship with God, particularly by coming to Him in His Word regularly.
* That they cooperate with the “positive pressure” they sense from the indwelling Christ to preach the gospel to those the Lord has placed on their hearts, and if they have not yet had any names written on their hearts, that the Lord write some names there.
* That the Lord raise up many families for the church life across the world, particularly in Europe.

4. Special prayer requests for the sick ones:
“And He said, If you will listen carefully to the voice of Jehovah your God and do what is right in His eyes and give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Jehovah who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26)

1) Naomi (daughter of Branden & Katrin)
Naomi was admitted to the hospital due to an enlarged lymph node. Based on a CT scan, the doctors believed she had an infected cyst and performed a drainage procedure. However, the swelling has not subsided, and the doctors are concerned.
The following update is from Branden & Katrin today:
“We visited the ENT specialist, her pediatrician, and the pharmacy this afternoon. Naomi will be tested for TB tomorrow, and it appears she may need a follow-up surgery for the new mass. Naomi still has swelling in her neck, and the doctors are unsure of the cause. We have follow-up appointments this week. Please pray that the Lord of light will shine.”

Please pray:
* That the Lord would be with the doctors who are caring for Naomi, granting them wisdom to determine the cause of the swelling in her neck and to provide the most effective treatment, so that Naomi may make a swift and complete recovery.
* That the Lord would use this difficult situation to supply His all-sufficient grace to Branden and Katrin, that they may gain more of Christ, experience Him more deeply, and enjoy Him in a richer way.

2) Sister Jenny P.
About two weeks ago, Jenny experienced optic nerve paralysis, which has significantly affected the vision in one eye. She is currently receiving treatment from an ophthalmologist and an acupuncturist. The doctors expect that it will take some time for her vision to recover.
Please pray that the Lord would grant her a full and speedy recovery of her eyesight so that she may soon return to her normal daily life.

5. For the follow-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Gospel Outreach in Los Angeles area:
From June 11 to July 19, many saints from the churches in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas went out and distributed a total of 1,825 Bibles (1,412 English, 236 Spanish, 177 Korean), 275 Spanish Gospels of John, and 2,654 tracts, resulting in 141 contact requests.

Please pray:
* That each recipient be inspired and reminded to open their New Testament daily and be granted a spirit of wisdom and revelation concerning His divine economy.
* That there may be diligent follow-up with those interested in further fellowship.
* That the Lord may instill in all the saints a heart for the people and may develop in them a gospel living that is “ready in season and out of season” (2 Tim. 4:2).

6. For the GTCA (Gospelize, Truthize, Churchize America) – California Central Coast:
GTCA has announced the burden for the Lord’s move in the Central Coast area of California between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Saints have been meeting as the churches in both localities for more than 25 years. These cities are home to the UCSB and Cal Poly SLO campuses; each also has a community college. This geographical area spanning roughly 100 miles includes multiple small- to medium-sized cities. In recent months, there have been two conferences for the saints in this area and those burdened for the Lord’s move there.

Please pray:
* That He would continue preparing the saints in SB and SLO for His move in the Central Coast by their being blended and built up together, and learning together how to move practically as “one church.”
* That He would call, stir, burden, loose, and move inwardly in many saints — singles, couples, and families — whom He has chosen to strengthen this area. The burden is for at least 40 saints to migrate.

7. For the Short-term shepherding trips and migrations to French-speaking Europe:
Please pray:
* That the Lord will raise up lampstands in Rouen, Versailles, Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg), Geneva (Switzerland), Marseilles, Caen, Nante, and Montpellier.
* That the Lord will increase the team of full-time serving ones in Paris to take care of the Lord’s needs throughout French-speaking Europe. Please pray for the release of long stay visas for these saints.
* That many students, families, and mature saints will migrate to France within the next several years for the Lord’s interest.

8. For the Young People’s Service/Meeting in Torrance:
We should pay particular attention to the young people in our work in each locality. Today Satan’s organizations and philosophies pay particular attention to young people. Can we not infer that God is paying attention to young people as well? This does not mean that the souls of older people are not precious in God’s eyes, but it does mean that for the sake of God’s work and for the future of the gospel, there is more hope with the young people. Our gospel work should place special emphasis on high school and college students. We should spend and pour out our all to save, cultivate, edify, and lead these young ones. (The Collected Works of Watchman Nee, vol. 55, p. 49)

Please pray:
* That more saints would rise up and take the burden to pray for and shepherd the young people.
* That our current young people would be properly cared for in life and in truth, so that they may become the loving seekers of Christ in this evil age.
* That the Lord would bless the YP service and meetings in Torrance to raise up the next generation for His eternal economy.

9. For the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH (California State University, Dominguez Hills):
Please pray that the Lord would open a clear and effectual door for the resumption of the campus work at CSUDH, preparing the interceding ones, serving ones, the environment, the administration, and the students’ hearts for His move on the campus.
“Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest that He would thrust out workers into His harvest.” [Matthew 9:38]

10. For the saints who have lost their loved ones or are ill for the sake of His divine interests (The all-inclusive Christ, the Kingdom of God, and the House of God):
Please pray that the Lord, the true Physician, would care for the sick saints and grant them healing through His all-sufficient grace, that they may experience and enjoy more of Christ throughout every medical procedure for His divine interests.
